Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to use our website regardless of technology or ability. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards and to keep improving accessibility as our site evolves.

Measures we take

  • Clear structure: semantic HTML, logical heading order, meaningful link text.

  • Keyboard access: all interactive elements operable via keyboard; visible focus states.

  • Contrast & colour: minimum contrast ratios; no colour-only instructions.

  • Images: informative images have alt text; decorative images are hidden from assistive tech.

  • Forms: associated labels, helpful error messages, and clear instructions.

  • Media: captions or transcripts for core videos; controls are keyboard-operable.

  • Responsive: content reflows on small screens; supports text zoom to 200%+ without loss.

  • Motion & flashing: avoids flashing content; respects “reduce motion” settings.

  • ARIA: used sparingly and correctly where native HTML isn’t sufficient.

  • Skip links: quick access to the main content for keyboard and screen-reader users.

Compatibility

This site is designed to work with:

  • The latest versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari

  • Current iOS and Android browsers

  • Common screen readers (for example, VoiceOver, NVDA) and magnification tools

Older browsers or very old operating systems may have reduced support.

Known limitations

We’re working to address the following:

  • Some embedded third-party widgets (e.g., maps, social embeds, WhatsApp links) may not fully meet WCAG controls.

  • Occasional PDF downloads may not be fully tagged for accessibility.

  • Legacy blog posts may have inconsistent heading levels or missing alt text.

  • Expand component library guidelines to ensure future content remains accessible.
